Best sandwiches on the mountain. Recommend Hot corn beef and cheese or hot pastrami & cheese. The Garlic bread & a salad is great too.

Me and my fiancé tried this place out on a random Sunday. We were pleasantly surprised. Fatty sandwhich at a good price. Not only was it a big portion it was deliscious. Bread was great. We definitely will be back. Our new sandwhich spot on the mountain!

Tasty grinder sandwiches!! All the ingredients are fresh. This is a local favorite spot. I really like the Turkey they have in the sandwich. You can order full or half sandwiches. You can pick one off the menu or create your own. They have warm sandwiches and cold cut. I made my own and ordered the salami and Turkey. It was so tasty. I'm also ordered the Turkey peppercorn. It had just the right amount of flavor / pepper. The Philly cheesesteak is also a local favorite. Many people ordered it when I stopped by. My half sandwich, chips, and a drink was a little over $11 USD which is not bad during inflation times. Better than McDonald's prices! This is a definite must visit when you are riding along the Rim of the World Scenic Byway.

Amazing fresh bread that makes for an excellent sandwich. Cute patio area. Bonus points for being open early and the fast service.

AMAZING! Honestly I still think about this sandwich place everytime I'm coming back from big bear. It is so delicious and flavor packed. Second time here and honestly even better than the first time. I got the ball busta which was good in portion size. Packed with so much flavor in every bite. Staff was friendly as well. Plenty of seating downstairs. Would highly recommend!

Rocky's is my usual post-MTB race stop and it's always Rocky's Italian--always meaty and delicious--with chips and a Barq's to wash it down. But today, the Italian sausage and peppers was calling--about 10-inches or so of perfectly-flavored sausage, covered in mozzarella, toasted up under the broiler, and covered in sweet bell peppers. What I really dug about this sandwich was that the sausage, sauce and bell peppers all seemed to be cooked separately, so they retained their distinct flavors, but they all came together in classic Italian style in the end, better than a Vespa, an Aperol spritz and ride around Lake Como. A course-chopped slaw, some chips and a Barq's (as always) rounded it out. Enough for two, I ate it all myself, which made it difficult to get back on the motorcycle for the two-hour fire road ride home. But alas.... My only complaint: the sad little plastic fork that wilted under the gluttony. So, if you're on your way to or from Running Springs or Big Bear, make a stop. Just bring your own fork.

This is a quick review because I only ordered a sandwich and quickly ate it there, then left. When I first drove up it looked closed. I took a chance and went in and voila, they were open. The staff greeted me promptly and directed me to the menu on the wall behind me. I chose a customized salami sandwich. They didn't have the cheddar cheese I wanted, but everything else was fine. The. Read was quite good, as was the dressing. I think I paid $7, which was reasonable. Inside it was the typical mountain colors and aesthetic. Nothing fancy overall.
